1. Who we are
DARI PropTech PSC ("DARI", "we", "us") is a company registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with its office at King Hussein Business Park, Building 16, 5th Floor, Amman, Jordan. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website (dari-jo.com) and to the DARI platform and mobile applications (together, "the Services").
3. The data we collect
On this website:
- Your email address and preferred language, when you ask to receive news about DARI. We also record the IP address and browser type of that request to prevent abuse.
- The technical data needed to run the site: a session cookie, and your light or dark theme choice, which is stored only in your own browser.
When you use the DARI platform:
- Identity data confirmed through Sanad, Jordan's national digital identity, such as your name, national number and date of birth.
- Contact details, such as your mobile number and email address.
- Property and contract data: property details, ownership information verified with the Department of Lands and Survey, lease terms, signatures and contract documents.
- Payment data: invoices, payment status and payment references from eFAWATEERcom and card processors. We do not store full card numbers.
- Security data: sign-in records, device information and an audit log of actions taken on contracts.
4. How we use it
- To provide the Services: verifying identities and property ownership, preparing, signing and registering lease contracts, and issuing invoices and receipts.
- To contact you about your account, contracts and payments, and — only if you asked — to send you news about DARI.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud, and keep the records the law requires.
- To improve the Services, using aggregated information that does not identify you.
5. Legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023: to perform our agreement with you, to meet our legal obligations, on the basis of your consent (for example, for news updates), or where it is necessary for the secure operation of the Services.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
- with the government services needed to deliver the Services, such as Sanad and the Department of Lands and Survey;
- with payment providers, including eFAWATEERcom, to process payments;
- with the other parties to a contract you take part in, such as the landlord, tenant or agency;
- with service providers that host or support our systems, under confidentiality obligations;
- where required by law, a court order or a competent authority.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contract and payment records for as long as the law requires, and other personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Email addresses on our news list are kept until you ask us to remove them.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to authorised staff, and signed contracts are stored in a way that prevents them from being altered.
9. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent at any time, and object to certain processing, within the limits of the law — for example, records we are legally required to keep. To make a request, email info@dari-jo.com. You may also complain to the competent authority in Jordan.
10. Age
The Services are intended for people aged 18 and over.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above always shows the current version, and we will announce material changes on this website or in the Services.
